“The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government. ”
― Thomas Jefferson
“The beauty of the Second Amendment is that it will not be needed until they try to take it.”
― Thomas Jefferson
“Laws that forbid the carrying of arms . . . disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes . . . Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.”
― Thomas Jefferson
“Disarm the people- that is the best and most effective way to enslave them.”
― James Madison
“The constitution shall never be construed…to prevent the people of the United States who are peaceable citizens from keeping their own arms.”
― Alexander Hamilton
“Before a standing army can rule, the people must be disarmed; as they are in almost every kingdom of Europe. The supreme power in America cannot enforce unjust laws by the sword; because the whole body of the people are armed, and constitute a force superior to any band of regular troops that can be, on any pretence, raised in the United States.”
― Noah Webster
“The state must declare the child to be the most precious treasure of the people. As long as the government is perceived as working for the benefit of the children, the people will happily endure almost any curtailment of liberty and almost any deprivation.”
― Adolf Hitler, Mein Kampf
What happens when they take your Guns away?
A short History Lesson

Germany established gun control in 1938 and from 1939 to 1945, a total of 13 million Jews and others who were unable to defend themselves were rounded up and exterminated.
China established gun control in 1935. From 1948 to 1952, 20 million political dissidents, unable to defend themselves were rounded up and exterminated.
Guatemala established gun control in 1964. From 1964 to 1981, 100,000 Mayan Indians, unable to defend themselves, were rounded up and exterminated.

As tragic as the Boston Bombings were there is something very disturbing about the Liberal Media’s attempts to speculate that this tragedy came at the hands of Right wing Groups. They repeatedly suggest that it might have been another Oklahoma type domestic terrorist act. One has to wonder how it is that they did not suggest that maybe, just maybe it was another Weather Underground type bombing by the likes of Bill Ayers, who was bombing police stations and Government Offices in the 60′s and 70′s. I for one am sick and tired of having the Liberal Media tainting our news with their bias opinions rather then just reporting the facts as they know them at any given time.
A City upon a Hill is a phrase from the parable of Salt and Light in Jesus‘ Sermon on the Mount. In Matthew 5:14, he tells his listeners, “You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden.” It has become popular with American politicians. The term is also influenced by Plato’s Republic and the concept of the “good city” – a city-state governed by philosopher kings.
The phrase entered the American lexicon early in its history, in the PuritanJohn Winthrop‘s 1630 sermon “A Model of Christian Charity“. Still aboard the ship Arbella, Winthrop admonished the future Massachusetts Bay colonists that their new community would be a “city upon a hill”, watched by the world—which became the ideal the New England colonists placed upon their hilly capital city, Boston.[1] Winthrop’s sermon gave rise to the widespread belief in American folklore that the United States of America is God’s country because metaphorically it is a Shining City upon a Hill, an early example of American exceptionalism.
“Out of the mouths of babes” isn’t just a meaningless expression. When applied to an unnamed 15-year-old girl in Maryland who testified about the importance of the Second Amendment and the havoc wreaked by gun control, “out of the mouths of babes” refers to a clear-eyed, rational, logic statement that explains the benefits that arms confer on law-abiding citizens, and the ineffectiveness of gun control laws that only harm, not help, those most likely to be victimized by gun crime.
We don’t know much about her, but this 15-year-old girl from Maryland sure knows her facts when it comes to firearms.
Speaking before Maryland legislators at recent a hearing, the young woman made her case against gun control and argued restrictive legislation will only affect law-abiding American citizens. It only took her about three minutes to effectively make her point.
The video was posted to YouTube about a week ago and already has over 1.5 million views.
“I’m 15-years-old and I’ve been shooting for almost eight years. I’ve also been part of the Maryland Rifle Club and Maryland State Rifle Team,” she began. “Because of this I have become eligible for various shooting scholarships around the country to a wide array of even the most prestigious colleges that have shooting teams.”
“Achieving stricter gun control laws would obliterate any opportunity I could have had to attend a decent college on a shooting scholarship,” she added.
She went on to say that it became immediately clear when she began shooting that guns are not the problem, people are.
“Chicago, Illinois has had some of the strictest gun control laws in America enacted in the last few years and it is currently more as twice as likely for you to be killed in Chicago than in the Afghani war,” the 15-year-old said.
She pointed out that of the 3,371 have been killed in Chicago in the past 11 years. Of that total, only 37 were killed with a rifle — barely 1 percent.
“So creating gun control legislation that targets ‘assault rifles’ has statistically proven to only weed out less than 1 percent of the problem if you’re lucky,” she added.

Local law enforcement agencies across the country are facing an ammo shortage, as gun owners concerned about new laws at the federal and state level stock up on firearms and bullets.
At the same time, the Department of Homeland Security has said it wants to buy more than 1.6 billion rounds of ammunition in the next four or five years — which could put further strain on the supply.
The shortage, coupled with an increase in prices, comes as many gun owners head to the stores in anticipation of new gun control laws. States like Colorado and New York have already approved such legislation, while Democrats move toward bringing a bill to the Senate floor. At the moment, the congressional bill does not include an assault-weapons ban, but a ban is expected to be floated as an amendment.
Still, what one official described as “panic-buying” set in, as lawmakers rallied to draft new legislation in the wake of a series of tragic mass shootings last year, from Aurora, Colo., to Oak Creek, Wis., to Newtown, Conn.
In Tennessee’s Hamilton County, the sheriff’s department says its officers will be given fewer bullets when they train at the range.
“The concern over firearms availability and ammunition availability and potentials of gun control certainly has impacted the availability of ammunition purchased locally,” training coordinator Jody Mays said, according to WDEF.
Earlier this year, Rollingwood Police Chief Dayne Pryor told MyFoxAustin.com that “panic-buying” is contributing to a situation where officers trying to order new firearms are being forced to wait. He said the city, which is outside Austin, has been told to expect wait times to purchase AR-15s and ammunition.
“We have adequate supplies right now, but we’re limited to how often we can go to the firing range to train because we want to be conservative right now,” he said.
Similarly, the Jenks Police Department in Oklahoma has faced rising ammo and assault weapons costs.
Police Chief Cameron Arthur said the department is still waiting on an order from October, according to KJRH.
Meanwhile, according to CNSNews.com, Rep. Timothy Huelskamp, R-Kan., said he still hasn’t heard back from the Department of Homeland Security on why it’s buying 1.6 billion rounds.
The Homeland Security Department, though, has said it needs the bullets for law enforcement agents in training and on duty.
Published federal notices about the ammo buy have agitated conspiracy theorists since the fall. The government’s explanation is much less sinister.
The Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Glynco, Ga., and others like it run by DHS use up to 15 million rounds a year, mostly on shooting ranges and in training exercises.
More than 90 federal agencies and 70,000 agents and officers used the department’s training center last year.
The rest of the 1.6 billion rounds of ammunition would be purchased by Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the federal government’s second largest criminal investigative agency.
The Homeland Security ammo buy is not the first time the government’s bullets purchases have sparked concerns on the Internet. The same thing happened last year when the Social Security Administration posted a notice that it was buying 174,000 hollow point bullets.
One Law takes away the Right to Life of the Unborn Child while the other takes away the Rights of Law Abiding Citizens. Can anyone see where all this is going?
