If Obama’s Not Campaigning, Why is He Campaigning?

White House officials have been insisting for a couple of weeks that Obama’s bus tour through the Midwest has nothing to do with campaigning. It’s just a way to get the president among the people, especially, um, the people in presidential battleground swing states. This is an official trip, paid for by taxpayers, while the DNC sits on its wallets, so he can’t be campaigning, right?
Well, Obama was in Minnesota yesterday and in Iowa today, two must-win states for him in 2012. And he’ll go to two places in Illinois tomorrow for cover – since Illinois is an easy win for him – but both towns are within shouting distance of Davenport, Iowa and should pick up some coverage from the swing state too.
Meanwhile, he’ll be interviewed today by two TV stations from St. Louis, Mo., bringing a third critical 2012 state into the mix.
But the best way to see if he’s campaigning is to see if he’s campaigning. What else do you call this, from his town hall yesterday in Cannon Hills, Minn.?
I know it’s not election season yet, but I just have to mention, the debate the other party candidates were having the other day, when they were asked to reduce our deficit, reduce our debt, would you be willing to take a deal where it was $5 of spending cuts for every $1 of increased revenues, who would take it? Everybody said no. They said, how about 10 to 1? Ten dollars of cuts for every dollar increase in revenue? Are you saying that none of you would take it — and everybody raised their hand. None of them would take it. Think about that. I mean, that’s just not common sense.
Gosh. Let’s have a quiz. When you attack candidates who are opposing you then your are:
A. Speaking random words which just happen to fall together into an attack on your opponents.
B. Ordering out for Chinese
C. Campaigning.
I’ll help. The answer is, “C.”
Gosh, the White House should be able to fake it better than this. I mean, they ought to at least not have blown their story on the first day.
It seems so many have forgotten what it means to be an American. We live in a day and age of Political Correctness and Government Corruption. The two work together for the sole purpose of dumbing down the American People. Well, the majority of us know better and are not going to allow the few to take from the many our Freedom. Seems the smallest groups make the most noise in this Country and it has worked pretty well up until now. You see, We the People have had enough! We no longer will remain silent nor turn a blind eye as our Freedoms are slowly diminished. No Sir, we aim to take back our Country and put our Nativity Scenes and Crosses where ever we want in this Great land. We aim to bring to a halt Abortion on demand for the sake of Birth Control and we aim to bring Big Government down to the proper size.
We are a Representative Republic and that is what we are going to have, so help us God!
What can I say America? What can anyone say? The man is an Idiot plain and simple and he needs to go come 2012.
All the eloquent speeches from the Anointed One will not improve our economy nor is it in any way shape or form going to create jobs. We now have a President that is so full of himself that America is suffering another financial setback that all the Kings men and all the Kings Czars cannot put back together again.
The good news is that America is waking up and we have put real American Patriots in the seats that were filled with Corrupted and stagnant career politicians who had forgotten the Power of We the People

The White House has named Jesse Lee to a new position within its communications department titled Director of Progressive Media & Online Response. According to The Huffington Post, Lee will essentially be responsible for building up Obama’s online presence as he prepares for his reelection bid, and squashing any negative stories:
The post is a new one for this White House. Rapid response has usually been outsourced to the Democratic National Committee (DNC), if not done on an ad-hoc basis by administration officials. Rex 84, short for Readiness Exercise 1984, is a contingency plan developed by the United States federal government to suspend the United States Constitution, declare martial law, place military commanders in charge of state and local governments, and detain large numbers of American citizens who were deemed to be “national security threats”, in the event that the President declared a “State of Domestic National Emergency”. The plan stated that events that might cause such a declaration would be widespread U.S. opposition to a U.S. military invasion abroad, such as if the United States were to directly invade Central America[1][2][3][4][5][6]. To combat what the government perceived as “subversive activities”, the plan also authorized the military to direct ordered movements of civilian populations at state and regional levels.[7]
Rex-84 was written by Lieutenant Colonel Oliver North, who was both the NSC White House Aide and NSC liaison to FEMA, and John Brinkerhoff, the deputy director of “national preparedness” programs for FEMA. They patterned the plan on a 1970 report written by FEMA chief Louis Giuffrida, at the Army War College, which proposed the detention of up to 21 million “American Negroes”, if there were a black militant uprising in the United States.[1][8] Existence of a master military contingency plan (of which REX-84 was a part), “Garden Plot” and a similar earlier exercise, “Lantern Spike” were originally revealed by journalist Ron Ridenhour, who summarized his findings in “Garden Plot and the New Action Army.”[9]
Exercises similar to Rex 84 happen regularly.[12] For example, from 1967 to 1971 the FBI kept a list of over 100,000 persons to be rounded up as subversive, dubbed the “ADEX” list.[13]
The basic facts about Rex 84 and other contingency planning readiness exercises—and the potential threat they pose to civil liberties if fully implemented in a real operation—are taken seriously by scholars and civil libertarians.[14]
