Troubling? Putin Oversees Largest Russian Nuclear Tests Since the Cold War
Amid international calls for nuclear disarmament, Russia has launched the most comprehensive tests on its nuclear arsenal since the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991, the Kremlin said Saturday.

The exercises, held mostly on Friday, featured prominently in news reports on state television which seemed aimed to show Russians and the world that Putin is the hands-on chief of a resurgent power.
Tests involving command systems and all three components of the nuclear “triad” – land and sea-launched long-range nuclear missiles and strategic bombers – were conducted “under the personal leadership of Vladimir Putin”, the Kremlin said.
“Exercises of the strategic nuclear forces were conducted on such a scale for the first time in the modern history of Russia,” the Kremlin statement [added].
“Vladimir Putin gave a high evaluation to the combat units and crews and the work of the Armed Forces General Staff, which fulfilled the tasks before them and affirmed the reliability and effectiveness of Russia’s nuclear forces.” [Emphasis added]
In 2010, the United States and Russia agreed to scale back their nuclear arsenals to no more than 1,550 warheads by 2018. However, while Putin appears to be fine-tuning his arsenal, President Obama has made his commitment to total nuclear disarmament perfectly clear.
“I state clearly and with conviction America’s commitment to seek the peace and security of a world without nuclear weapons,” he said to a Nobel Peace Prize panel shortly after he was elected. “This goal will not be reached quickly – perhaps not in my lifetime. It will take patience and persistence.”
Republicans have harshly criticized the president’s ambitions, however, saying it is highly unlikely our enemies will follow our lead. On the contrary, they will likely just grow bolder as the balance swings in their favor.

Romney did very well in last nights debate.
Obama came off as a bully that was itching for a fight.
Romney didn’t take the bait, and I think that Obama is either frustrated, or he thinks he won.
Obama was unsuccessful in getting a rise out of Romney, instead, he exposed himself as a petulant individual that has no experience in the world of adults.
I would surmise that OB’s handlers told him that he did a good job fending off the nasty republican candidate.

Romney was the only adult in the room and America saw it first hand.
The puppet could be out of strings if the congress continues to prosecute his administration for the misdeeds that have occurred under this administration against this country.
Will they be allowed to get away with it ?
That depends on the Tea Party Movement, and our efforts to clean up the government.
This election is not the end, it is the beginning.
Congress should be apprised of the fact that we are mad as hell and we are not going to take it any more.
The representatives in the house and the senate need to be apprised of the fact that they are history if they do not do the peoples bidding to keep this country as the finest republic the world has ever known.

It takes the blood and sweat of our troops foreign and domestic.
America always comes first, it will always come first.
We allowed a Marxist to be elected to the presidency of the United States of America due to the ignorance of the populace that allowed the MSM to get away with shielding the mans history.
And now,…he is trying desperately to serve another term.

Wouldn’t a man of at least some integrity allow some to be released ?
This is a man who has Zero Integrity and does not even understand the meaning of it. Look at his Cabinet and Czars. Are they not all birds of a feather?

My only disappointment in the debate is that they stayed mired in the mddle east and hardly talked about Russia or china in any detail. Nor did they talk about Mexico or Venzuala. Yes, 30,000 dead Syrians is bad news but what about the thousands of dead Mexicans (and even Americans) because of the failed “war on drugs” and Mexico’s corrupt government?
I think Romney did his best to touch on as many issues as the Moderator would allow but I especially liked it when Barry once again tried to get the Moderator to check the transcripts. He acted just like a 4th Grader raising his hand and yelling ” Call on me, call on me ” I know this one!
You have to consider that if the economy in America tanks, we will not be able to enforce our borders, or for that matter, defend the Americans that are stationed throughout the world.
Obama is determined to put this economy on it’s knees in order to make US into just another country in the world.
I reject that.
Romney will not allow that to happen.
The most important thing that we need to come out of this election is to have someone that has the expertise to fix and reverse the taxpayer money that has been foolishly spent on ridiculous enterprises.
GM still owes the American taxpayer 23 Billion dollars and yet Obama says that they have paid back the debt to the American People.
The Greatest Threat To America is President Obama!
