You don’t think that Americans didn’t help build this country, then you believe the way that Obama does. The gov’t. did. Who gave us our laws, our rights and our freedoms? Do you not know that many slaves were sold by their own people? If the African-Americans do not like what our country has become, they are free to go back to Africa. You don’t think the sweat and tears of our soldiers who have died to save other countries was wrong? Why can’t people understand that not for the US they would be a Nazi or worse. Next time a country is in need why doesn’t England, Greece or any other nation stand up and do it? America is great when your country needs us. Maybe we should say no the next time.

People that come here have a knowledge of history and embrace the conservative principles that built this Country.
The Indians waged war on each other. They are now citizens.
Africans SOLD Africans to the slave owners in this country.
The Africans were freed from slavery by the white man. They are now citizens.
Women were allowed the vote because of the integrity of the people in congress at that time realized that women also should have a voice in the election of our representatives.
We the People have nothing to apologize for.
We have created the finest Country the rest of the world can only aspire to.
Even given the fact that our politicians are corrupt, the American People, and the American Principles will survive.

Right again! I do live in England. My ancestors were Anglo-Saxons. They left Germany, crossed the North Sea and stole the land the Celts were living on. Centuries later, the sailed across the Atlantic to colonize North America. Having been taught how to farm this new land by the Indians, they stole it from them and worked it with slave labor. Yes, friend, we are in this together! And I would like to say here and now how much I appreciate you guys for bailing us out of two world wars. But that doesn’t alter the fact that you and I have a lot to apologize for.
What did you DO? We can’t go back and redeo anything. Like I said if anyone wants to go back to their ancestors country they are welcome. The Indians were treated badly and they have been compensated, they pay no taxes for any of their business, some are paid money each month. Some of the blacks were sold by their own people. Do you honestly think that they would have been better off in Africa? If they think that they would have been, then they are free to leave.
I am submitting your name to President Obama’s Team requesting that you be invited to travel with him on his next apology tour scheduled for mid August. Have a great time my friend and I am sure you will feel much better about your ancestors poor choices in the New World.
ps: Germany doesn’t exactly have the best record when it comes to Human Rights. Perhaps you could stop by Israel while with the President and extend your regrets to them also.

samiam60, Fantastic. Some of mine came over in 1700′s did they have slaves, I haven’t found any evidence yet. If I do find that they had slaves, I will let everyone know! Do you think Obama would go to Africa and want to stay there?

Did you know that a large population of the Slaves chose to stay with their Slave Masters after the Civil war because they were treated so well? The media doesn’t want US to know about that so, Shhhhhhhhh.
I don’t know if Obama would want to go back to Kenya but I wish he would and I wish he’d take his little dog too. OOPS, shouldn’t of said that. He’d eat the dog!
