‘I’m Going to Be Fired’: Bob Beckel Detonates a High-Volume ‘What the F***’ Live on Hannity
One of the oldest rules in broadcasting (I’m thinking back to my TV anchor days) is that you should always assume that your microphone might be live. Yet time and time again we see that rule violated. And often it comes right at the moment when the commercial break ends.
Bob Beckel was obviously carrying on with an off-air argument and missed any cue about going back live. So he finished yelling at Neil Boortz, “You don’t know what the f**k you’re talking about.”
But it maybe worth watching the longer version.
In a blooper that is as hilarious as it increasingly becomes painful, it slowly dawns on Beckel what actually happened, as Hannity insists he apologize and Beckel, after saying he won’t several times, finally realizes the cameras are actually rolling. When he finally figured it out, he told Hannity to “run your show better,” then covered his head in shame and refused to speak, other than to say “I’m going to be fired.”

You know something folks. If I wanted to listen to a bunch of Vile, Vulgar, Ranting Libs on the News I would watch MSNBC or CNN.
I tune in to Fox to avoid that kind of Sleeze and now they are adding more and more of these Depraved Liberals to their shows.

I agree Samiam. Fox should have cut Beckel loose ages ago. The man is indeed the most vile of liberals. He would do so much better on MSNBC or CNN.
That being said, with the hiring of Greene, Sally what’s her name and Jesse Jackson’s daughter for starters, they have confirmed my fears that they have now stored their honor and journalistic integrity somewhere up in the back of the attic, thus becoming the worse kind of sheep.
I have no confidence in Fox or their terminating Beckel. Should they eventually terminate Beckel it would be because Beckel is now deemed a relic.
We must, however, be careful of what we wish. If Beckel is terminated, then his seat is sure to be filled by the likes of Greene or Sally what’s her name. For me, that is the equivalent of jumping from the frying pan into the fire.
Good Morning D. and nice to see you my friend. I understand what you are saying when you say be careful what you wish for but firing Beckel would send a clear message to the Libs on Fox that that kind of language and behavior will not be tolerated.
I watched Beckel on the Five last night and he seems to have emerged from this unscathed. That only serves to empower him to continue on with his blatant disrespect of all things Conservative.

This certainly isn’t the first time Beckel has dropped the *f* bomb live. He’s done it at least 3 or 4x, if not more. I don’t care that he has opposing opinions…in fact, his obnoxious manner might actually hlep our cause…who knows? But they should have some standards, and given the multiple times this has happened, something should be done. That’s ridiculous. I never watch Fox anymore. I don’t have the time, and I just got tired of them. I rely on talk radio….but who knows how much longer that will be around. I heard Michael Savage telling Laura Ingraham that he has knowledge that the two of them, along with Rush and one or two other conservative hosts, are being targeted by the Obama administration. His claim is that Obama, or his cronies, are intimidating radio managers into dropping their shows. Don’t know if it’s true, but it certainly wouldn’t surprise me.
Very interesting information RightHook. This does not surprise me in the least as Media Matters has openly gone after Rush’s Advertisers and so one can only wonder what is being done behind the scenes.
Glenn Beck leaving Fox News was the beginning of the end of Fox News in my opinion. I rarely watch them anymore.

i only watch THE FIVE when beckel is not there…he makes me believe that there is no such thing as a recovering addict, be it alcohol or drugs…and truly, i think he is ignorant…a much better liberal would be juan williams who is insightful, intelligent and willing to listen to other side…beckel is definitely not intelligent…intelligence is the theme?

Juan Williams, have you heard this left wing loon lately, especially on Sean hannity, singing the praises of obuttman, singing the praises of Obuttman and Holder getting involved in the Trayvon martin case, using the race card. Have you heard Juan pushing the redistribute the wealth, get rid of guns mantra? Kirsten Powers maybe, but really watching the five makes me gag, after all that will be and always be the Glenn Beck hour, PERIOD.
As liberals go, Juan is typically one of the more tolerable. He will concede to a more conservative point of view from time to time. However, as the election gets closer, I have also noticed Juan leaning much further left and defending Obama. Big turn off. I don’t watch much FOX anymore, but Juan is completely off the rails when it comes to Obama, just like every other blind follower of this POTUS.
Republicans and Democrats are soon going to be aligned to gangs cause people are choosing there colors as do gang members they are breaking us up instead of keeping us united as both parties preach they are doing.
I think Bob Beckel is a good citizen but misguioded. He surely is well versed in OPolitics, I only wish he would use his integrity to not be a leftist but to support conservative vaues. Perhaps as the Obama admin comes under more fire as time passes, Bob might rethinjk his loyalties.

I stopped watching the Five a while ago and might turn off Fox altogether soon.
fox has to stand tall and recall Beck and not abe intimidated by the companies that do not want to advertise on Fox. Conservative Beck is a good educatgor for our citizens and shjould be retgurned to his original program on Fox,. Beckel MUST go; he is so arragant and disrespectful, always insulting his cohostgs and Governor Romney and Congressman Ryan. Ask Beckel to tell us one thing that Obama has done that benefits all (ALL) us citizerns.

It’s so weird. Sean Hannity and Mark Levin, 2 true conservatives, are personally very close to Beckel and always talk about what a good person he is. I don’t think they would call him their friend if he wasn’t. So why is he such a jerk on air? Does the man have a split personality? Is it all a schtick? What’s the deal?
