This isn’t new news but it certainly is disturbing and it says something about the ones that think the wealth should be spread around!
No, Michele Obama does not get paid to serve as the First Lady and she doesn’t perform any official duties. But this hasn’t deterred her from hiring an unprecedented number of staffers to cater to her every whim and to satisfy her every request in the midst of the Great Recession.
Just think, Mary Lincoln was taken to task for purchasing China for the White House during the Civil War. And Mamie Eisenhower had to shell out the salary for her personal secretary from her husband’s salary.
How things have changed! If you’re one of the tens of millions of Americans facing certain destitution, earning less than subsistence wages stocking the shelves at Wal-Mart or serving up McDonald cheeseburgers,prepare to scream and then come to realize that the benefit package for these servants of Ms Michelle are the same as members of the national security and defense departments and the bill for these assorted lackeys is paid by YOU, John Q. Notice how the UK reports many of these fancy dinners, designer clothes (no more Target or JC Penny!), 635.00 slip on flats in Hawaii – $6000 clutch bag (Russian visit), numerous relatives went with Michele and girls on Safari, the Spain vacation was obscene, $2,500 per night (took friends)- only Saudi Kings/Princes can afford this exotic place, – $4 million ++ for 2011 Hawaiian vacation (moved to new estate, needed upgrades on communications etc).
Plus there is entertainment every week (click your fingers – top stars/ Broadway – Hollywood show up). All of this and MORE in the midst (forget lying media) of a depression/ MILLIONS no longer counted with unemployment run out. ONLY a FEW states got 99 weeks/ those with largest unemployment – population/ most got only 4-6 months depending on state/ LOW wages. What they’re not telling people is that these (ha) new jobs are mostly PERMTEMP (new term) jobs/ thus no need for unemployment, pensions, health – can lay off at any time.
EX: Auto workers now make a grand $14.50 an hr….they will not be able to purchase the cars they’re making, buy a house, afford medical coverage, college for kids………….its a RACE to bottom in wages. Meantime Washington elites make $176,000 – TAX FREE expense accounts (lease cars – gas allowance – travel – trips for family etc) Cadillac health coverage ( we pay 72% of premium costs) – they pay ONLY ten bucks for their prescriptions, free dental, vision.
NO – they voted NO, on Obama (Medicaid on steroids) Care for themselves. Meantime the President (Democrats – media doesn’t report) have cut food stamps ( $14 billion) …$12 billion to pay for stimulus for states (fire, teachers, police salaries, pensions) and $2 bill for Michele’s Move On Fat people (whatever)…………home heating oil cut to nothing, while thermostat at White House is kept at constant 72 degrees. It’s all a colossal joke ———GOOGLE Motel Kids ——–Google Tent Cities (name the state) – Google US citizens living in their cars.

This is deplorable.
IMO, she either needs this many ‘attendants’ to protect her from the media, make her feel like a queen, ‘establish the level she has attained in front of the American People’, or , she’s just incompetent.
I vote for the concept of ‘In your face America !’

If we (the great unwashed) are able to last until 20 January 2013 and Obama has not been re-elected, we must for the sake of a future for our children, ask our Congress to implement legislation that will prevent any future First Lady from bilking the taxpayers ever again..she can pay for her staff. Limits should be set on how many vacations a President may take each year and outside of the President’s nuclear family the taxpayers are not responsible for the cost of the vacations. This means all extended family and friends travel at the expense of the President .
