Just a factual point of reference. These were not union members. These are young young university students. They are not demonstrating against union rights, but rather voting rights. Specifically, they disagree with the new voter ID law. The demonstration was quiet. I agree the zombie theme was uncalled for. This article is wrong. It met its goal of being inflammatory. Yet, there is little factual basis. Just thought you all should know.
Democracy 101 thank you for commenting and pointing out more of the facts. I appreciate your thoughts but maintain they are protesting a Governor who is hated by the Left and although they may not be actual Union Members they most certainly are Union Sympathizers and or Children of Union Members to say the least. The trend is abundantly clear as is their intentions. I am sure many more Liberal Groups will find other reasons to Protest this Governor but the Cause will be the same and give the same effect. I stand fully behind my Article here on those grounds.

Special Olympic Ceremony Crashed by Union Zombi Thugs in Wisconsin. . . .” Additionally, contrary to what you stated, you have no idea whether the young students are union sympathizers or children of union members. Most probably some are union sympathizers, some are not. Some are children of union sympathizers and some are not. Meanwhile you have the right to support Governor Walker and they have the right to disagree with him. That is what America is all about. I close with one reminder from God: Thou shalt not bear false witness. I am sure that statement is fact ~ even when you do disagree with someone.
The agenda here is a Liberal one or should I say a Progressive one. The appearance of Zombi’s at a Special Olympics ceremony is the only proof I need to use Union influence in this article. It’s there M.O. Civilized human beings do not behave this way. Secondly, I have my photo on my drivers license as do they. For the sake of non fraudulent elections why shouldn’t voters be required to show photo ID? These students have to do that just to buy their beer. Your staining at a Nat here. Behold the Beam!
Perhaps the best answer is simply a suggestion. Clear your mind of the din of your hatred and fear for just a while. Sit quietly with God and listen.
I had learned a long time ago to connect the dots. It is a Common Sense approach to understanding the world around you in an all encompassing way. Lets look at the source and motivation of the demonstrations.
College Students…..Union College Professors.
High School Students….. Union Teachers
One does not have to search very far to see the influence on these students and the motivation for their protest. In the final analyses my title is correct and I rest my case.
Perhaps you should follow your own suggestion and ask yourself why you choose to make a mountain out of a mole hill if not for hateful reasons? You give the impression of being a Liberal.
I am not a union member, in fact I am a retired manager. My husband is retired from his own small business. I am a person who respects and wants truth. Not the connect the personal dots that ends up with a theory simply presented as truth ~ when indeed it is not truth. No matter how you rationalize it, your statements are not accurate. Truth should be the goal for both liberals and conservatives. I would hope you would agree with that. I love America and believe that “United we stand, divided we fall” is a true statement. Both liberals and conservatives should honor that conclusion. Our faith in God and our patriotism is not honored by hate and fear. It is not honored by gleefully pointing to the mistakes of others as a victory ~ whether liberal or conservative. The gleefulness might bring short term satisfaction, but long term, it is wrong and harmful to our country.
Be your namesake, Sam I Am ~ use persistence, patience, and truth. Don’t be the character who dismisses the green eggs and ham due to prejudice, fear, and perhaps some hatred. Step up and be positive. Represent truth. Go for it!
Thank you for that my friend. Many times the road to Truth comes when connecting the dots on a map. This is exactly what I have done here and sometimes a persons search for Truth is hidden from view. I think you get my drift. You however did not answer my question as to your ideology be it Liberal or Conservative. I also seek truth and will connect the dots until I find it. You should take the time to read more than just one Article before you pass judgement on someone.
Why does the label liberal or conservative matter? I am an American who loves my country. Aren’t we all? Truth be told, I am a hybrid between the two. I agree with some conservative positions and some liberal positions. I do not think there is one side that is evil and the other side has all the right answers. We need to work together, not label and hate each other. I am not judging you, I simply wanted, in some small way, to reduce misinformation and recall the roots of our faith.
Well thank you Democracy101, I am sure you are busy writing letters to CNN, MSNBC, ABC,NBC, and CBS in your quest for truth. How many letters/emails have you sent them? Personally I see you as someone who has just spent a lot of time trying to correct a slight in the title of a simple blog like a Camel trying to fit through the eye of a needle. If you were merely seeking Truth you would have found the good in the intent and not so much the perceived negative. Your a Liberal through and through and trying to say you are both Liberal and Conservative is misleading. By the way, do you feel any outrage at what those Students did to those poor children of the Special Olympics?
Remember that was supposed to be a special day for those kids and adults.
Nope. Haven’t written to any of the television stations you mentioned ~ or Fox, or CNBC, or the Hallmark Channel. Seems a waste of time. Please note that I said earlier I thought the students who were demonstrating as zombies were inappropriate. Nonetheless, a relative of mine (by marriage) has Down Syndrome and is a Special Olympian. You will be pleased to know it was a special day for him ~ the demonstration was a non-event for him. This weekend (in fact later today) he is receiving a Special Olympics Medal in Stevens Point, WI. It makes his day.
