President Obama wants you to Sit Down and Shut UP
The White House has named Jesse Lee to a new position within its communications department titled Director of Progressive Media & Online Response. According to The Huffington Post, Lee will essentially be responsible for building up Obama’s online presence as he prepares for his reelection bid, and squashing any negative stories:
The post is a new one for this White House. Rapid response has usually been outsourced to the Democratic National Committee (DNC), if not done on an ad-hoc basis by administration officials. Obama Administration Eyeing Gun Control ‘Under the Radar,’ Groups Warn
The Obama administration, after keeping gun control on the back burner for over two years, is prompting concern among gun rights groups that it’s slowly starting to squeeze the trigger on tighter regulation.
In the wake of the January shooting of Arizona Rep. Gabrielle Giffords and 18 others, President Obama remained mostly quiet on the firearms front as lawmakers clamored for new restrictions. But the president has since made a public call for tougher background checks. The Justice Department launched a series of meetings with officials and advocates to examine gun control policy. And while gun-control bills in Congress have languished, the administration has started to chip around the edges with its own proposals.
“They’re doing a pretty good job … as Obama has said, ‘under the radar.’ There’s a lot going on under that radar,” Gun Owners of America Director Larry Pratt said, referring to a remark Obama reportedly made in a private meeting with gun control advocates. “They’ve shown us how much they are prepared to do through regulation.”

Rex 84, short for Readiness Exercise 1984, is a contingency plan developed by the United States federal government to suspend the United States Constitution, declare martial law, place military commanders in charge of state and local governments, and detain large numbers of American citizens who were deemed to be “national security threats”, in the event that the President declared a “State of Domestic National Emergency”. The plan stated that events that might cause such a declaration would be widespread U.S. opposition to a U.S. military invasion abroad, such as if the United States were to directly invade Central America[1][2][3][4][5][6]. To combat what the government perceived as “subversive activities”, the plan also authorized the military to direct ordered movements of civilian populations at state and regional levels.[7]
Rex-84 was written by Lieutenant Colonel Oliver North, who was both the NSC White House Aide and NSC liaison to FEMA, and John Brinkerhoff, the deputy director of “national preparedness” programs for FEMA. They patterned the plan on a 1970 report written by FEMA chief Louis Giuffrida, at the Army War College, which proposed the detention of up to 21 million “American Negroes”, if there were a black militant uprising in the United States.[1] [8] Existence of a master military contingency plan (of which REX-84 was a part), “Garden Plot” and a similar earlier exercise, “Lantern Spike” were originally revealed by journalist Ron Ridenhour, who summarized his findings in “Garden Plot and the New Action Army.”[9]
Rex 84 was publicly mentioned during the Iran-Contra Hearings in 1987.[unreliable source?][10][11]
Exercises similar to Rex 84 happen regularly.[12] For example, from 1967 to 1971 the FBI kept a list of over 100,000 persons to be rounded up as subversive, dubbed the “ADEX” list.[13]
The basic facts about Rex 84 and other contingency planning readiness exercises—and the potential threat they pose to civil liberties if fully implemented in a real operation—are taken seriously by scholars and civil libertarians.[14]

Why the Liberal Left Loves to Hate Sarah Palin

When I was ten years old, I participated in an act of
unadulterated group evil. It happened at a sleep-away camp in the Catskill
Mountains.
Starting in third grade, I was shipped off to this summer camp for
three months at a time. Although I was in no way ready to be so far from
home, my parents wanted the summers free and clear — so I was whisked away,
like hundreds of other Camp Tawonga kids.
I lived in a bunk with a gaggle of other girls, with two teenagers
to oversee us. Since our counselors were more absorbed in the male staff
than in us, we girls had the run of the house.
One day, my bunkmates decided to punish Barbara, a popular and
confident child. The masterminds held Barb down while a few others stripped
off her clothes. Barbara struggled and screamed as the rest of us watched,
transfixed. The details are blessedly murky, but they involve mocking
Barbara and grabbing at her body.
Although I wasn’t a major player, I also did nothing to stop the
madness, which shames me to this day. I even recall feeling a strange,
wicked thrill surging through my body. Now that I analyze it, it was the
maniacal power of sadism — and evil.
I’ve always wondered why Barbara was chosen to be tortured, and
not a nerdy girl instead. But after beholding the horrible treatment of
Sarah Palin, I finally understand: Barb was a sweet and happy and innocent
child. The leaders of the pack wanted to knock her down from her high
horse.
My mind flashed to this awful memory after hearing that Palin was
being scapegoated for the Tucson Massacre. Palin has been a target of the
left’s wrath from the moment she was nominated for vice president. Many
conservatives have tried to explain why.
Some say it’s jealousy, which is true; Palin is a lovely woman
with a handsome husband. She’s also a self-made woman; Palin has risen to
power on her own, without the coattails of husband or father.
Some conservatives believe that the hatred is a result of
brainwashing; this is true, as well. Liberals respond robotically, like
Pavlov’s dogs, whenever Palin’s name is uttered.
But there’s a darker reason for the abject hatred of Palin, and
the clues can be found in that Catskill Mountains bunk. Because evil can
manifest when people project their own badness and shame onto another.
People on the left hate Palin for one simple reason: because she
is everything they are not. She is their polar opposite because her life
journey has diverged from the prescribed liberal path.
Palin was raised to be self-sufficient and independent since “idle
hands are the devil’s tools.” Little Sarah was up at the crack of dawn,
hunting with her dad; in sharp contrast, liberal kids like me were still
fast asleep.
Palin didn’t have life handed to her on a silver platter, like so
many in the ruling class. Instead, Sarah balanced school, chores, jobs, and
sports. While liberal girls like me were glued to the boob tube, Sarah had
no time for sloth.
Palin attended church with her family on Sundays. On Sunday
morning, young liberals like me were recovering from Saturday night.
From her devout Christian upbringing, Sarah learned to be a good
girl. In contrast, I learned everything I needed to know about how to be a
modern girl from the monthly Playboy Magazine, which was conspicuously
displayed on our living room table.
Sarah dated and then married her high school sweetheart; I learned
that my body was a commodity that I “owned.” And I could use my body — and
allow it to be used — to temporarily still the pangs of loneliness.
There’s a lyric from a Matt Maher song that always moves me to
tears. It’s when he cries out to God: “Where were You when sin stole my
innocence?”
When I hear these words, an unspeakable pain cuts through me. I
feel the ache of something stolen from me — something precious, never quite
recovered. And there are countless others out there, similarly robbed,
though they have no idea what has gone missing.
And then, out of the blue, Sarah Palin, like a majestic bird in
flight, swooped onto the scene of a depraved and deprived nation. With her
children and grandchild, her religion and her patriotism, Sarah is the
antithesis of everything the progressives stand for. Palin is not just
pro-life, but she emanates life — and good, clean living.
And what does the left do? They try to drag her through the mud
to sully her. The hardcore among them want to eliminate her, even if this
means putting her life at risk.
The progressives “joke” about gang-rape, make pornographic movies
about her, and leer at her legs. (Would any of this be tolerated against
Michelle Obama?)
Palin’s church was torched during the primary, a vicious crime
that was hushed up by the MSM. And now, with the smears about Tucson, death
threats against Palin have soared.
Yes, leftists attack Palin because they envy her beauty; and true,
she’s a political threat. But the main reason for the hatred is something
deeper and darker.
Leftists loathe Palin because she has retained something that was
stripped from them years ago: a wholesomeness, a purity of heart. People on
the left despise Palin because she shines a bright light on their shame and
unworthiness, which they try desperately to deny.
The progressives, like that brutal gang of abandoned girls, want
to drag Palin down into the gutter with them; they want to spoil her. Of
course, their efforts will be futile; Palin is fueled by a Spirit that isn’t
simply her own.
The left knows only how to point fingers, and threaten, and
menace. Why? They are lost, abandoned children as well; they have shunned
the only Force who could wash them clean and bring them home again.

Antisemitism (also spelled anti-semitism or anti-Semitism) is prejudice against or hostility towards Jews often rooted in hatred of their ethnic background, culture, and/or religion. In its extreme form, it “attributes to the Jews an exceptional position among all other civilizations, defames them as an inferior group and denies their being part of the nation[s]” in which they reside.[1] A person who holds such views is called an “antisemite”. Antisemitism may be manifested in many ways, ranging from individual expressions of hatred and discrimination against individual Jews to organized violent attacks by mobs, or even state police, or military attacks on entire Jewish communities. Extreme instances of persecution include the First Crusade of 1096, the expulsion from England in 1290, the Spanish Inquisition, the expulsion from Spain in 1492, the expulsion from Portugal in 1497, various pogroms, the Dreyfus Affair, and the Holocaust by Nazi Germany.
From The Blaze we read: Last night at the American-Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reiterated that a return to Israel’s 1967 borders would be “indefensible.” But he wasn’t the only one using that word. Activists from the far-left group CODEPINK decided to crash the speech and shout slogans using the same word.
The group isn’t shy to claim responsibility either. A press release on the site Moveoveraipac.org — which is admittedly the work of CODEPINK — boasts about the disruptive protest:
The activists are from the Move Over AIPAC coalition led by CODEPINK: Women for Peace.
The protesters, 5 in all, rose one by one, unfurled banners, and chanted slogans. In response to Netanyahu’s claim that returning to the 1967 borders would be “indefensible,” activists called out that various aspects of Israel’s policy are indefensible. They were escorted out by security, but not before they made a highly visible protest against the theft of Palestinian land, the siege of Gaza, denial of the rights of Palestinian refugees, silencing dissent, and destruction of homes and schools.
I Condemn the Actions of CODEPINK and find their Mentality to be Depraved and Degenerate!

Urban decay is the process whereby a previously functioning city, or part of a city, falls into disrepair and decrepitude. It may feature deindustrialization, depopulation or changing population, economic restructuring, abandoned buildings, high local unemployment, fragmented families, political disenfranchisement, crime, and a desolate, inhospitable city landscape.
Since the 1970s and 1980s, urban decay has been associated with Western cities, especially in North America and parts of Europe. Since then, major structural changes in global economies, transportation, and government policy created the economic and then the social conditions resulting in urban decay.[1]
The effects counter the development of most of Europe and North America; in countries beyond, urban decay is manifested in the peripheral slums at the outskirts of a metropolis, while the city center and the inner city retain high real estate values and sustain a steadily increasing populace. In contrast, North American cities often experience population flights to the suburbs and exurb commuter towns, i.e., white flight.[2] Another characteristic of urban decay is blight—the visual, psychological, and physical effects of living among empty lots, buildings and condemned houses. Such desolate properties are socially dangerous to the community because they attract criminals and street gangs, contributing to the volume of crime.

Obama: Palestinian State Must Be Based on 1967 Borders
President Obama, in a sweeping address tackling the uprisings in the Middle East and the stalled peace process, on Thursday endorsed Palestinians’ demand for their own state based on the borders that existed before the 1967 Middle East war.
The break with longstanding U.S. policy is likely to aggravate the Israelis, who want the borders of any future Palestinian state determined through negotiations. The declaration comes ahead of a meeting in Washington between Obama and visiting Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
